FAQs

  • Does it stay in place while travelling?
    Yes. No need for taking it on and off the door. Pull the straps to full tension to keep it in place as you travel.
  • Will it fit on my sized door?
    It will fit on most caravan doors, but we recommend that you measure your door before ordering. The dimensions of the product are 50cm wide by 143cm tall. The straps extend to fit a door with a minimum 145cm and maximum 180cm height. If you have a vent in your door, allow space so that the vent remains uncovered. It does not currently fit on the Dometic Carad Caravan Door (which has a figure 8 outer door). If you're unsure, feel free to send us a question at vanwareaus@gmail.com.   • Will it fit a pop-top caravan?
    The dimensions of the product are 143cm x 50cm. If you have a pop-top caravan, please measure the size of your door before ordering. When measuring, if your door has a vent in it, please ensure that the length of the Door Storage will not cover the vent. If the dimensions of the Door Storage will fit your door without covering a vent, then the Door Storage will be suitable for your pop-top caravan. If the length of the Door Storage will cover a vent, it will not be suitable for your pop-top caravan. But, please send us an email at vanwareaus@gmail.com as we are producing a version of the Door Storage that is more suitable for pop-top caravans. We will contact you when it is ready so that you can order it instead.
  • I have an inbuilt blind on my door - will it work?
    For most caravans where there is a curtain that can be removed, it will work. For most doors with a blind that has a gap between the door and blind, it can slide underneath the blind, or you can easily unscrew the blind. For those where the blind is completely in-built it will depend on your door. If you would like to try it, please place an order and if it does not work, you can return it within 14 days with money back - see Returns Policy below.
  • What is your Returns Policy?
    We want happy customers! In the unlikely event that you receive your product and it does not fit your van door, we will provide a refund. If you receive a damaged or faulty product, we would be happy to replace the product. Vanware does not offer refunds for change of mind. Conditions: All refunds and replacements are subject to authorisation by vanware and are required to be requested within 14 days of receipt of product. The product should be returned to vanware within 10 days of authorisation. Please contact our helpful team at vanwareaus@gmail.com including both your order number (found in your confirmation email when you placed the order) and your receipt number (found on your receipt) and: · If the product does not fit your caravan door - a photo of your door, including door dimensions. We will provide instructions to return the product and receive a refund. · If you received a damaged or faulty product - a photo of the product/damage. We will provide instructions to return and replace the product. We will work with you to rectify the situation as soon as possible.
  • What are shipping costs and timeframe?
    Delivery is through Australia post within Australia. Shipping costs are for standard post, $5 AUD for under 5kg. If requesting international delivery, please contact us prior to placing an order at vanwareaus@gmail.com We despatch orders within 1-3 business days. Delivery is then via Australia post, standard shipping is 3-6 business days. Please verify all details of your order, including delivery address, before finalising it. If the address is incorrect and the package is returned, any additional shipping charges will be charged to you. By placing an order with us, you agree that vanware reserves the right to pass on additional shipping fees in order to deliver the product to you.
